Directions for setup of Microsoft Outlook for
Windows 98, 2000, & XP
| For Outlook on Windows 98:
|
Go to Tools on the menu bar
Go to "Accounts" |
|
| Click "Add" and then
select "Mail" |
 |
| Enter name as you would like
it to appear.
| 
|
| Enter email address example:
whatever@yourdomain.com |

Server setup:
Select POP3
for incoming mail enter: pop.yourdomain.com
for outgoing enter: smtp.yourdomain.com |

Enter account name
or username
Enter password for that account name |

Check off the appropriate
connection (Select ISP if connecting through phone line)
Click "Finish" |

| For Outlook on Windows 2000:
|
Click on Tools then “Accounts”
Click on the “Mail” tab, click “Add” , then
select “Mail” |

Enter name as you would like
it to appear.
Click “Next” |
 |
| Enter e-mail address then click
“Next” |
 |
Server

First you go to “Email
Accounts” under Tools.
Click "Next" |

Check off “Add a new email
account”
Click "Next" |

Check off “POP3”
Click "Next" |

In the next box enter the person’s name and email address under
“User Information”
Enter the person’s username and password under
“Login Information”
Under
“Server Information”
for incoming mail enter:
pop.yourdomain.com
for outgoing enter: smtp.yourdomain.com

Click the “more settings”
button |

Go to the “Connection”
tab
Check off the appropriate connection (Select
ISP if connecting through phone line)
Click "Ok"
Click "Next"
Click "Finish" |
